The Challenge
Insurance, rental, fleet, and finance companies needed a unified platform to auction and remarket vehicles across multiple countries. Fragmented local tools and lack of real-time visibility made cross-border remarketing slow and opaque. Global Shipping needed a scalable platform with live auction capabilities and multi-country support.

Designed auction and remarketing flows with live dashboards. Validated UX with key reseller stakeholders in each region.
Build
Next.js public site and React-based operational tooling. Express services with Sequelize on MySQL and Redis, plus Socket.IO, Pusher, and WebSockets for live auctions. Card processors, SMS, and transactional email connected end to end.
Launch
Staged rollout by country. Monitored real-time performance and auction completion rates.
Iterate
Enhanced analytics for remarketing performance and cross-country comparison tools.
The Solution
Auction and remarketing platform with a Next.js storefront, React for internal tooling, and Express services on MySQL and Redis, using Socket.IO, Pusher, and WebSockets for live bidding alongside Stripe, Braintree, SMS, and email delivery.
